Giandomenico Padovan

Giandomenico Padovan is T, and a key figure in advancing cultural and artistic exchange between China, Europe, and the United States.

Padovan graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ca' Foscari University of Venice in 2013 with a Master's degree in Intercultural Development of Tourism. Ca' Foscari is one of Venice's most distinguished public research universities, housed since its founding in 1868 in a Venetian Gothic palace on the Grand Canal, with a scholarly heritage of enduring depth and prestige.

Following his studies, Padovan lived and worked in Beijing for seven years, until 2022. During this period, he co-founded and served as Managing Director of Yang Bo Beijing Ltd., an art and culture company through which he was deeply engaged in Sino-Italian artistic exchange initiatives. He organized study tours for Chinese artists to Italy and Spain, facilitating visits to significant institutions including the Municipality of Parma, the Morandi Museum in Bologna, and the Spanish Association of Painters and Sculptors — accumulating extensive experience in Sino-European art diplomacy.

In terms of curatorial practice, Padovan has co-organized a series of major international events in collaboration with Shengxinyu Art, including the Titian Painting Competition, the Venice International Watercolor Festival, the Titian International Portrait Competition, and the Sino-Italian International Youth Art Exhibition — held respectively in Treviso, Italy, Shanghai, China, and Kentucky, USA. He maintains long-standing collaborative relationships with institutions such as the Treviso Academy of Art and the Civic Museums of Treviso.

As one of the core organizers of the Venice International Watercolor Festival, Padovan takes full responsibility for the festival's international coordination, budget planning, logistics management, and exhibition execution, and is the indispensable driving force behind the festival's successful realization on Italian soil.
