Organizational Team
Our Team
The Le Venezie International Watercolor Festival is operated and driven by a highly professional and genuinely international organizing team. At its core are Zhang Hongbin and Ji Yinglun, founders of Shengxinyu Art (China), Raffaello Padovan, President of the Italian Association for Cultural and Artistic Exchange, and Sandra Miranda Pattin, a distinguished Italian curator. Together with representatives from art associations in China, the United Kingdom, and Italy, the team embodies the artistic strengths of Asia, continental Europe, and Britain, forming a robust collaborative framework that transcends cultural and geographical boundaries.
On the academic front, the team brings together leading artists, curators, and art historians from the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Ireland, the United States, Belgium, and China. The jury panel includes world-renowned watercolor artists, presidents of national watercolor societies, the Co-Chair of the Art Renewal Center (ARC), and the former Director of the Florence Biennale, among other distinguished figures — ensuring that the adjudication process is fair, rigorous, and internationally authoritative.
On the administrative and operational front, the festival is supervised jointly by the Municipality of Treviso and the Shanghai Association for International Cultural and Artistic Exchange. The host venue is the Palazzo dei Trecento, a historic landmark at the heart of Treviso, which lends the exhibition both deep historical resonance and official institutional credibility. The Chinese organizing team oversees the collection, review, and international logistics of works submitted by artists from China, ensuring a well-structured and efficient participation process.
United by the conviction that art knows no borders, the team has steadily built the Venice International Watercolor Festival into one of the most influential international platforms in the global watercolor art world — offering artists from every corner of the globe a professional stage that is both academically grounded and internationally far-reaching.
