Ji Yinglun
Ji Yinglun is the Secretary-General of the Venice International Watercolor Festival Organizing Committee, Co-founder of Shengxinyu Art, and a seasoned art media professional.
In 2005, Ji Yinglun joined the editorial team of Collection (Shoucang) magazine, where he devoted more than a decade to art collecting and the art market media sector, rising to the position of Deputy Editor-in-Chief. During his tenure, he also founded and oversaw Collection Trends (Shoucang Qushi) magazine. He conducted in-depth coverage of leading international art events including The European Fine Art Fair (TEFAF), and interviewed prominent figures in the international art world such as Axel Rüger, Director of the Van Gogh Museum, and the President of the Paris Biennale des Antiquaires — accumulating a broad international perspective and an extensive network of media resources in the process.
In 2019, Collection magazine was honored with the "Annual Art Media of Highest Communicative Influence" award in China, with Ji Yinglun accepting the award on behalf of the publication.
In the field of international artistic exchange, Ji Yinglun has worked closely alongside Zhang Hongbin to co-organize a series of significant international art competitions since 2020, including the Titian Painting Competition, the Velázquez Painting and Sculpture Competition, the Venice International Watercolor Festival, the Titian International Portrait Competition, and the Venice International Youth Art Competition. He has also successfully championed the inclusion of Chinese artists on the international juries of prestigious competitions such as the ARC International Salon and the Spanish International Portrait Competition — marking a historic first for Chinese representation on the judging panels of these globally recognized events.
Ji Yinglun has long been committed to bringing Chinese artists onto the world stage, and stands as one of the most dedicated practitioners and advocates in the field of international promotion of contemporary Chinese art.
