Sandra Miranda Pattin

Artist & Curator

Born and raised in Colombia, she graduated in Fine Arts in Florence, Italy, where she currently works as Head Curator of the artistic residency and experimental space Chiasso Perduto, which she co-founded. Host of the recent podcast Nuevas Curadurías (available on Spotify), produced by Hijas del Arte in Argentina, she is also a curator for the platform Artists on the Map as well as for The Wall Edit for AMZ Space in Florence. She has curated over 80 exhibitions, and her practice centers on curatorial follow-up for artists. Former Head of International Projects for the Florence Biennale, she was also Artistic Consultant at Fabbrica Progetto, Gambettola, and the BB Sardinia project. Co-founder of ArtSEEN Journal magazine in Italy and the UK, and of the web TV channel Sillón 8 in Colombia, she has also worked extensively lecturing in Lima and São Paulo, as well as online, on her main research themes: the curatorial field and women in the arts.
