Associazione Culturale per gli Scambi Artistici
The Associazione Culturale per gli Scambi Artistici (Italian Cultural Association for Art Exchanges) is a non-profit cultural institution based in Treviso, Italy, dedicated to fostering artistic exchange and cultural dialogue between Italy and the international community. The Association is presided over by Raffaello Padovan, with Giandomenico Padovan serving as Secretary-General.
Deeply rooted in the rich cultural heritage of the Veneto region, the Association leverages Treviso's unique position as a historic city of artistic significance to build professional bridges between Italy and the global art world. Over the years, it has established broad collaborative relationships with art institutions across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, accumulating extensive experience in cross-border cooperation across disciplines including painting, watercolour, and sculpture.
Within the Le Venezie International Watercolor Festival, the Association serves as a co-organising institution alongside the Clarence Bicknell Association (UK) and ShengxinyuArt (China), forming the core institutional framework of the festival. It takes primary responsibility for on-site coordination and local organisation in Italy. The Association maintains a long-standing official partnership with the Municipality of Treviso, under whose support each edition of the festival has been held at the Palazzo dei Trecento — one of the city's most storied medieval landmarks — reflecting the Association's established standing and broad recognition within Italy's cultural institutional landscape.
